Cozy In Cardigans

Posted on

So who doesn’t love cozy cardigans for fall? If you’re anything like me you love to be wrapped up in a comfortable and warm cardigan for colder months. Talking about colder months, I heard the weather this week is supposed to get into the low 60’s, which makes it even more important to stock up on your favorite cardigans! Did anyone else hear that? Let me know in the comments! Anyway, today I’m not only talking one comfortable must have cardigan, but TWO. So get prepared.

The cardigans that I’m loving are both from a local Oklahoma boutique out of Norman, and if you are new to reading my blog (Hello!), but you will see in past posts where I do a lot of my shopping at this local boutique. Blush Norman, located on Campus Corner, has the cutest youthful, fun, and trendy clothing items and accessories! This year, they really stepped up their new arrivals game and are giving me TONS of fall inspo vibes.

Lets start with the blue cardigan, and let me tell you guys, THIS CARDIGAN IS SERIOUSLY THE SOFTEST. I even had my niece and sister try it on because holy heart eyes it is soft and I had to tell the world. It literally feels like a blanket- perfect for colder months. It is an oversized cardigan, too, which makes it a great option for us tall girls. I’m 5’9 for reference. The two pockets on the sides add nice details to the overall piece because they are big enough for a phone, keys, lip-gloss, etc.

The orange/mustard cardigan is giving me life with its color! I usually don’t tend to like clothing items in this earthy tone, but this time is different. After looking at pictures of it, I loved how it stood out against blue jeans. The color of this really pops. It’s a great neutral color to have and would look especially chic with leopard. This one has pockets too, but isn’t quite as long as the blue cardigan.

Styled with both cardigans are distressed skinny blue jeans also from Blush, and I chose to add brown shoes for both looks. With the blue cardigan I felt I wanted a “country” look so I paired the brown fringe boots and added the white ruffled flower top, which by the way IS SO CUTE. I’ve already worn it twice and I’ve only had it a short time.

With the orange cardigan and denim jeans, I paired backless mule heels and a light denim long sleeve shirt. Blush and I really liked how the orange and blue paired so well together. To top it off, we added a turquoise beaded necklace for an added detail.

So, there you have my two must have cozy cardigans for fall! Are you loving cardigans this season? Let me know your favorites in the comments!

As always, thank you to Blush for partnering with me on this post and letting me peek at your new arrivals!

This post was created in collaboration with Blush Norman, which I am being compensated for. Clothing pieces were sent to me in exchange for an honest review. Thoughts and opinions are my own.
