Wearing Warm Colors

As you probably know by now, I love my neutrals- especially when it comes to clothing. Usually, I don’t gravitate towards warm colors (I like my grays and blacks), but these pieced together not only look extremely fall appropriate but are so comfortable as well.

When I was shopping at Antique Garden a few weeks ago looking for fall items, I noticed this crushed velvet long trench, and I knew I wanted to pair together an outfit with it. At first I didn’t know what type of top to add, but the high neckline warm color top fits seamlessly with it. An added extra in the top is that is has no sleeves! So when you wear a jacket over it, you don’t have to fight your sleeves sliding in the armholes difficultly. This top too, would be wonderful to have in many colors in your closets.

The jeans remind me of an updated mom jean. They are once again cool! High-waisted and hitting above the ankle, these cropped denim jeans are a basic staple to have. Along with these denim jeans, Antique Garden offers many different textured and colored pants for those shopping.

For this outfit, I wanted my belt line to be shown off, so I tucked in my top and added a long brown and turquoise pendant necklace. To keep in the earth toned theme, the Free People Hybrid Heel Boots paired perfectly with the outfit. Plus, they have block heels, which added a bit dressier approach to the somewhat casual outfit.

I kept my arm candy about the same as always.  I paired my Daniel Wellington black leather watch with my brown tassel bracelet and a couple inexpensive gold bangles.
