Neutral colors are undoubtedly my favorite to wear all year long. In spring, I sometimes like to add a floral touch to my outfits to welcome a new season. Here, I’ve done just that.
These Banana Republic shorts I purchased last spring are the star of the show. I especially love these because they are dressier than denim- my usual go-to. This black and white floral pair goes great with a silk or high count blouse, like the one I’m wearing.
The one shoulder top (also from Banana Republic) is a coveted blouse in my closet. It fits comfortable, cool, and is so chic. It pairs great with denim, leather, colored pants, or these neutral shorts.
Usually I don’t pair heels with shorts, but for this outfit I wanted to spice it up a bit. I added my Payless black velvet Brash heels. I’m telling y’all- these heels are a MUST have. Aside from being practically free, they are comfortable and look great with any outfit! You can find those here.
I actually wore these heels again this week with a long sleeve BCBG fringe mini dress and they paired so well. They have quickly become a favorite.
Because of this outfit, I think I now love heels with shorts. I’m going to try and incorporate that more into my wardrobe! I feel it’s so chic and high-fashion.
To add a last bit of detail, I paired my Tory Burch black logo cuff with the outfit and a few gold and silver bracelets. As I’ve said before, this cuff is a longtime love of mine. It is SO chic and is a timeless piece to have. Highly recommend.
